PICK OF THE FLICKS - ABOUT THIS SITE
After spending 7 long years doing internet publishing on various movie related sites, most notably, “Hollywood Teen Movies”, “Hollywood Cult Movies” and more recently “80scinema.com”, I decided it was time to voice my opinion on movies in a different forum. “Pick Of The Flicks” is now my official review site. I am a film historian by choice and have enjoyed movies as an art-form for as long as I can remember. I view several hundred films a year either in the cinema or on DVD. I always have an opinion and many people ask me for it. With “Pick Of The Flicks” I hope to review all the major cinema releases, giving you my honest opinion on the good, the bad and the ugly of films that flood our multiplexes. In the downtime between cinema visits I like to check out new release DVDs and sometimes even revisit old favorites. My aim is to include as many “Retro Reviews” as possible as there are just too many good movies out there that need some attention. I look forward to sharing my reviews on this website and I hope visitors will get some enjoyment reading them.
